Applications are invited for a Locum Consultant Cardiologist post with a special interest in Heart failure and virtual wards in East Sussex Healthcare Trust.

This is an exciting time to join a progressive and dynamic cardiology department with supportive colleagues, working together to improve the cardiac health of our diverse local population.

The job role requirements include;

• MB BS or equivalent

• Full Registration with GMC

• Wide experience in all aspects of Cardiology, with a specialist interest culminating in the award of a CCT

• Competence in all areas of cardiac devices and pacing, with extensive experience in the management of Heart Failure

• Evidence of participation in management

• Understanding of recent initiatives and changes, including Clinical Governance and Appraisal

• Thorough understanding of principles of medical audit

• Understanding of the role of research. Strong Research Credentials or previous managerial experience
