Celebrating exceptional effort during Insulin Safety Week 2024
Following record-breaking numbers of sites taking part in Insulin Safety Week 2024, entries are open for the Insulin Safety Week Excellence Awards.
Created to celebrate and reward exceptional effort during the campaign, the awards are part of the QiC Diabetes awards programme, with the winner due to be announced at the ceremony in October.
The Excellence Awards recognise healthcare settings that have implemented outstanding campaigns, which may have led to policy changes, innovative educational sessions, or other significant improvements in insulin safety practices.
Emily Mayhew, Campaign Manager, commented: “This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the incredible effort made by healthcare teams across the UK and Ireland during Insulin Safety Week.
“Your dedication to promoting insulin safety and improving patient outcomes deserves to be recognised. We encourage all teams to share their achievements and participate in the Excellence Awards.”
This year, we are pleased to announce that the entries will be judged by industry representatives, including Becky Reeve, Head of Strategic Partnerships, Sanofi, Tracey Woolass Account Manager, Embecta and Simon O'Neill Director of Care and Clinical Intelligence, Diabetes UK.
Entry is simple, just email registrations@ojpr.co.uk with the following information:
